After much anticipation ‘I’m a Celebrity’ is set to return to our screens this Sunday at 9. p.m. for the seventeenth series. Information about the ten celebrities was released yesterday, ahead of their entry into the snake-infested jungle.
Following his time in rehab, we are super-excited to know the much-loved host Ant McPartlin arrived in Australia at the beginning of the week. But who will be included in this year’s cast? Read on:
The 30-year-old boxer, Amir Khan is a former light-welterweight boxing world champion. Hard-as-nails Amir should have no trouble tackling the physical trials, but will he be a match for the jungle’s notoriously varied menu?
Made in Chelsea star Georgio (known as Toff) recently appeared in Celebs Go Dating. Toff recently split from her boyfriend, James Middleton and is now about to join other single campmates in the jungle. Will there be love in the camp once more?
Well-known WAG Rebekah Vardy (married to Leicester footballer Jamie) is to join the jungle camp this Sunday. According to recent sources Jamie’s worth is £9m, so pigs testicles and heavy rainfall may feel like a shock to the system!
Boris Johnson’s loveable father, 77-year-old Stanley will be amongst the stars in the celebrity camp on Sunday. However, don’t let his age fool you – this man is a keen environmentalist, written many books and has the strength of spirit that may just see him win.
One of our favourite Corrie stars, Jennie (who plays the character Fizz) will also be amongst the crew. Jennie said the reason for signing up for the programme is due to her dad, who sadly passed away this year. Jennie stated that her father encouraged her to try things that were difficult. (We’re routing for you, Jennie).
Saturdays singer, 28-year-old Venessa White has been spotted in Brisbane ahead of the show. However, according to recent news sources, Vanessa’s odds of wining the show appear to be slim.
Hollyoaks heartthrob, Jamie Lomas (who plays the rogue Warren Fox) will be joining the other celeb campmates this Sunday, too. Apparently his phobias include bugs and spiders crawling on his head! Perhaps not an ideal move.
Conor Maynard’s brotherJack is said to be one of the 2017 jungle cast. The famous YouTuber from Brighton is only 22, but already has 1.2 million subscribers to his channel.
The Football legend Dennis Wise is set to join his campmates down under. However, will the 50-year-old have what it takes to take the title, King of the Jungle?
Come Sunday, super funny comedienne, Shappi Khorsandi will be joining the jungle team. Shappi’s family had to flea Iran when she was only six-years-old. In our eyes she too, has the strength to win.
