Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci looked to a Victorian-Chola for inspiration. Givenchy Fall/Winter 2015 runway collection was full of all things gothic and giving us the best of facial embellishment. Tisci created a collection that was so beautiful and got everyone talking. Models walked the runway with dramatic facial jewelry. He has been known for known for sending septum piercings down the runway before, fall took it up a notch with bold crystals covering everything from their ears down to their cheeks and chins as well as double ringed nose accessories.
Models had their hair done in tight braids with strands curled and stuck to the forehead. The outerwear pieces were perfectly tailored with cropped jackets borrowed from Victorian men and dramatic coats with flared skirts or fur accents. Evening looks had glittering embellishments with beads in demure and classic shapes, talk about modern day gothic dream.
