Alesha Dixon Dons A Dramatic New Hair Colour for BGT

Alesha Dixon had loads of attention when she arrived for the launch of the new series of, Britains Got Talent. The 37 year old has debuted a bold new hairstyle, having dyed her locks to an edgy shade of purple. As a matter of fact this really suits her, however we were not expecting her to choose this sort of style. The singer appears to have gone for a mixture of pastel pink and purple for the striking look, showing off her new do by leaving her short bob worn down in a textured, tousled style.

To complement her new style, Alesha chose an equally eye-catching outfit to match! The British beauty showed off her style credentials in a black long-sleeved mesh-effect and bandeau top combination, which she paired with cropped, flared white trousers. Accessorising with dazzling metallic statement jewellery, Alesha completed the look with black strappy heels, which included chainlink detailing on their block heels.

Alesha will be returning as a judge in the latest series of Britain’s Got Talent, where she will joining Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Amanda Holden. How exciting she will make a return!

While her purple tresses may be one of her boldest looks to date, it is not the first time she has gone for a bold and unique look! Earlier this year, she unveiled a bold new short bob which was a natural bold blonde colour, before heading to judge the show’s auditions in London.

“You know what it’s like, you just get bored,” she told HELLO! Online.  “I fancied a change and was like, ‘New Year, tenth year, chop it off.'”

Alesha revealed admitted that boyfriend Azuka Ononye, with whom she has a daughter named Azura Sienna, encouraged her to take the plunge and go for a striking makeover.

“I didn’t realise it was gonna go so short but my boyfriend has been telling me to chop it off for ages,” she added.

What do you fans think? Is she better off with her natural dark brown colour or do you prefer her in her bold colours?
