Golden Globes Showstoppers

Sunday the 8th of January saw the first award season of the year, fresh from the Christmas holidays, celebrities rolled through the red carpet looking their best. This year was the 74th Golden Globes celebrating excellence in film and television both in America and abroad. Hosted by Jimmy Fallon, the night was full of glitz and glamour, we bring you five of our favourite show stoppers.

Kicking off the list we bring you actress and Supermodel Naomi Campbell. We are used to seeing her slay the red carpet but last night she took it that extra mile. Wearing Versace teamed with Samer Halimeh jewels. She looked absolutely stunning in her couture dress which was layered with a lilac and black rhinestone ensemble.

Next up we have leading lady Sofia Vergara of Modern Family. Initially on first look, we wasn’t so keen on her Zuhair Murad couture gown. However on closer inspection the beading and the detail sealed the deal for us. Sofia opened the show by making fun of her own accent, which received a roar of laughter from her fellow actors and actresses.

Priyanka Chopra words cannot describe this Miss World bombshell making us light  headed in this beautiful Ralph Lauren ballgown. With a moderate plunge neckline finished off with maximum impact burgundy lips, what is there not to die for, love love love.

Waving the flag for the Brits Naomi Harris wowed us in a figure hugging floor length Armani gown. Looking like an award statuette this champagne toned dress complimented her skin tone beautifully. Finishing details with carefully layered tresses, we believe 007 would approve.

Last but not least our favourite yummy mummy Blake Lively the definition of class and elegance. Wearing a plunging black gown by Versace Atelier. For dramatic effect the Atelier gown was teamed with gold sequined arms. What can we say effortless every time.
