Kanye West believes his wife Kim Kardashian is going to give birth to their son any time from now. Their son’s due date is believed to be on Christmas day but according to Kanye he does not think they will wait that long. The rapper received his Shoe Of The Year Award at the Footwear News Annual Achievement Awards on Wednesday evening and announced how excited he was to meeting his little baby boy ‘any day now’.
The rapper jokily said “I’m waiting on my son to arrive any day now. I look at my daughter and I look at my wife and she’s rich and I don’t plan on being broke.” Whilst the couple are excited for the arrival, Kim revealed she is nervous about going into labour due to a series of health complications. After discovering that her baby was still in Breech position, Kim went to the hospital just before Thanksgiving to move him into a head down position. The reality star defined this procedure as “More painful than the birth” . Kim would had to have a C-Section if the baby did not turn naturally. Writing on her official website, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted: “I underwent a procedure called an ECV (External Cephalic Version, or a Version), which is done to manually turn the baby from breech position to a head-down position”.
Kim added, “They gave me an IV with medication to relax my uterus, and then three doctors attempted to work together to turn the baby. There was a risk that my water might break or the baby’s heart rate could drop – in which case, an emergency C-section would then take place. I went in with my sisters and my husband. I was prepared for it all!” She feels relieved that she has done this even though it was a painful experience because now she does not need a Caesarian and the baby is in the right place. Kim affirms “They don’t give you any pain medication, and let me tell you: This was soooooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth. BUT it worked!!! My baby is in the right position and it feels so good to not have the stress of thinking I need a C-section.”
Throughout this pregnancy she went through hell and back but she is very strong to manage this and her support from her husband and family has helped her.
