Kimberley Walsh Reveals Her Fitness Plan For Losing Baby Weight
Kimberley Walsh has opened up about the diet and exercise regime she followed to lose baby weight after giving birth to son Bobby in September 2014. The 34-year-old revealed that she has lost up to three stones following her new fitness plan but that weight loss wasn’t her only goal. So what was her other goals in mind?
“For me, it’s not about being thin,” she explained to Fit & Well. “I like having shape and definition.” The former Girls Aloud singer said that she lost the first two stone using a combination of gentle exercise and healthy eating, but that she decided to up the stakes ahead of appearing in the West End musical Elf.
To help her achieve her goals, Kimberley turned to celebrity personal trainer Nicole Abbot. She admitted that she would invite the fitness guru to her home to help her work out to make the most of the spare time she had whilst Bobby was asleep.“If he waked up before my hour’s session is up, Nicole ends up bouncing up and down!” she added.
It seems like the diet has worked and Kimberley looks amazing in her white wedding dress! It’s been an exciting few months for the British beauty, who tied the knot with Justin Scott in a beautiful ceremony in Barbados earlier this year.
“This wedding, being surrounded by the people we love, has been everything we hoped it would be and so much more,” an ecstatic Kimberley told HELLO! at the time. “I would do anything to be able to turn back the clock and start it all over again. There’s so much we haven’t been able to take in, but I’m sure we’ll spend our whole honeymoon reliving it. It’s a day we will cherish for the rest of our lives.”
Her long time love Justin added: “I guess, in a way, Kimberley and I were already living a married life in terms of our commitment to one another. The wedding has been a formality, but why should we miss out on a celebration just because we’ve stood the test of time? It’s something to celebrate in itself.”
