This week saw the arrival of the first fashion event of the year in London, London Collections Men. Not as big as its counterpart London Fashion Week, but growing each year. With A-listers such as ASAP Rocky, Tiny Tempah and Dermot O’Leary in attendance.
The catwalk saw collections from brands such as Coach, Topman and Barbour. Designers gave us an insight to Autumn/Winter 2016, charcoal grey, midnight blue and panther black are all the range. Large oversized garments take centre stage. One of the brands we loved was Belstaff, forever stepping out the box, Belstaff took the collection outside of the runway and created an underground Narnia to showcase their latest collection of winter apparel, reflecting the eskimo Antartica feel, perfect timing for this current weather.
If you don’t know, you should know Bobby Abley, his designs are inspired by Disney classics. Bold colourful eye catching garments, with a recent trip to Rio de Janeiro Brazil. The latest collection is an assemble of Winter meets carnival, you read correctly it just works so well, take a look at the highlights below.
London continues to attract the fashion heavyweights for its sense of freedom and creativity which can only be found in the capital. After all Alexander McQueen did design the Union Jack rain coat for David Bowie, before he had even become a household name.
