Yesterday, the world discovered that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are officially engaged, with the exciting news confirmed by Clarence House, giving everyone the ‘just seen a great rom-com’ feeing as they left for work.
The announcement confirmed that the couple are set to wed in Spring 2018, but with Kate’s baby due during this time, sources are suggesting the wedding could take place in May. Prince Charles, Camilla, Kate and Meghan’s parents Dora Ragland and Thomas Markle all have publically announced their happiness for the happy couple. Even the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh have congratulated the newly engaged pair in a statement that read: “We are delighted for the couple and wish them every happiness.”
So, let’s talk rings…
According to news sources Prince Harry designed the engagement ring which consists of three diamonds – two of which are from his mother Princess Diana’s ring collection. Needless to say, the ring is absolutely stunning!
So where can we find a similarly styled ring? This question will be on so many lips – and we have just the answer:
Following Pippa Middleton’s engagement, the London Victorian Ring Company experienced a huge increase in sales by customers looking to purchase art deco rings, and now they are preparing to accommodate those wishing to replicate Meghan’s ring. Their Three Stone Yellow Gold Engagement Ring is a similar trilogy design to Meghan’s but comes at far more reasonable price of just £3,450.

Deborah Jones, Partner at London Victorian Ring Company stated:
“The journey with creating your own family heirloom of the future starts with gemstones that have meaning for the couple. A classic trilogy ring symbolises the past, present and future of the couple. By combining the diamonds from Princess Diana’s collection and a sourced diamond from today, Prince Harry has re-enforced this tradition in the most romantic of ways.”
“When diamonds are ethically sourced and also have attachments to loved ones, this creates an engagement ring that will be treasured for generations. We also love the use of yellow gold, a metal that has been used for thousands of years and brings warmth to the ring.”
