Drake calls Rihanna the ”Queen” at his recent show in Amsterdam
Drake is currently touring through Europe, and during a recent Amsterdam show on Jan. 28, he gave a special shout out to his former love interest, Rihanna. After performing “Work” and “Too Good,” two hit collaborations featuring the Barbadian songstress, Drake paused to share a message with the crowd.
“You want to know why you got the party started?” the Grammy winner asked the audience, per a video shared online. “Because you played two records featuring the queen, RiRi. That’s how you get the party started. You play two records featuring Rihanna and you got the girls. They feel good, they feel sexy. Like I know you feel sexy, huh baby?”
Drake does know how to get the crowd and get the party started right!
Even with the current love situation between Drake and his new ladylove Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna is still living up her independent, single girl lifestyle while working on several projects we are so dying to know about.
A source tells E! News, “Rihanna is doing her and enjoying every minute of it,” adding that instead of getting caught up in her ex’s love life, she’s focused on what’s important.
The insider reveals that Rihanna is not dating anyone, but is spending time with her friends and family. When it comes to professional life, RiRi is working on forwarding the progress of new projects and collaborations. “Her circle is small and has always been,” our source shares.
Even though Drake is currently dating JLo, it is safe to say he is always going to have so much love for Rihanna and this is definitely not the last time he will be calling her name out while performing or giving her the recognition she so very much deserves.
