From crowns and slicked back hair to metallic pink lips and smoky eyes, this year’s Met Gala presented us with some amazing beauty looks. Each A-lister seemed to nail their respective looks from head to toe – and we have to say everyone got their beauty looks right. We’re so impressed!
Rihanna totally owned the Met Gala, wearing the on-trend metallic matte lipstick in gorgeous pink. Paired with smoky grey eyeshadow which worked like a dream.
Kate Bosworth turned just about every head as she opted for the fresh-faced and minimal makeup trend. A simple mix of oh-so pretty flushed cheeks, a touch of highlighter and pink lip gloss was all it took to look incredible!
Slicked back hair is huge this season and not only did we see the style on Kate Bosworth and Lily Collins, but also on Rosie Huntington-Whitely, too. Rosie’s golden halo and bold statement deep red lipstick – what’s not to love?
Kim K West’s smokey eyes and nude lips is just everything. The gorgeous reality star paired her stunning outfit with hair slicked back in a long black pony tail and she wasn’t afraid to show us cleavage. Kim K West’s makeup look definitely brought out her brown eyes as she sparkled all night.
Amal Clooney looked simply stunning wearing a pretty yet simple ponytail and bright orange/red lips.
The singer SZA wore a starburst headpiece on top of a curly long hair, with single braids mixed in. She sparkled her smoky eye look with two golden tears down one cheek.
Smoky eyes truly are key this season and this look was a hit with so many at the Met Gala, with stars such as Katy Perry, Kendall Jenner, Lily Collins, Shailene Woodley and Taylor Hill all rocking the look. Lily Collins rocked a gorgeous halo-like head piece and also featured bejeweled glitter tears and a single red one.
Ariana Grande wowed the crowd wearing her hair up in a ponytail paired with a pretty oversized bow (we want that bow). Ariana’s makeup stayed subtle, thus drawing out her stunning eye makeup and perfect cat flick in black.
Jennifer Lopez J.Lo debuted a super slicked-down bob styled by Lorenzo Martinfor Matrix. Makeup artist Scott Barnes went all in using extra long lashes, strong contour game, and nude lips. So glam right?!
We can’t talk about the Met Gala without mentioning the true queen, Sarah Jessica Parker. Her crown was mesmerising and her makeup kept to a minimum apart from the trending bold blue eyeshadow, of which truly offset her sparkly eyes and looked totally amazing!
