Running until the end of October, Dalloway Terrace has partnered with Nyetimber, one of England’s pioneering sparkling wine producers, to celebrate the beauty and richness of the autumn season. Inspired by Nyetimber’s vineyards across West Sussex, Hampshire and Kent, the terrace has been transformed into an enchanting autumnal meadow, bringing the charm of the English countryside to the heart of London. An abundance of seasonal blooms, including dahlias, echinacea, cosmos and stocks, adorns the space in a palette of soft peach, blush pink, golden hues and deep plum, complemented by the warmth of autumn foliage. The striking floral displays and golden colours create a beautiful setting for guests to embrace the season and enjoy a touch of countryside charm in one of London’s most elegant dining destinations.

The brilliant collaboration continues with a specially-curated afternoon tea. Savouries include hot smoked salmon, mascarpone and capers on fragrant caraway rye bread, poached chicken with tarragon mayonnaise and black olives on house-made sun-dried tomato bread, luxurious truffled egg mayonnaise on soft white bread, and marinated English cucumber with cream cheese on seeded bread.
Freshly baked Ugandan vanilla and sultana buttermilk scones are made daily to Pastry Chef Jake’s family recipe, dating back to the 1920s. Hand-shaped using Irish butter and English buttermilk, they are served warm with Cornish clotted cream and a house-made Victoria plum and vanilla jam inspired by his grandmother Jackie’s cherished family tradition, made with fruit from a Sussex orchard.

The sweet selection has been thoughtfully created to pair with Nyetimber’s Classic Cuvée Multi-Vintage. Guests can enjoy a fig and heather honey tart with sunflower financier, whose rich fruit and honey complement the wine’s toasted brioche notes; a carrot cake with mascarpone and yoghurt mousse that balances warming spice with the wine’s vibrant acidity; a maple and pear choux that echoes its baked orchard fruit character; a green tea and raspberry opera designed to enhance its freshness and fine bubbles; alongside a classic vanilla madeleine, creating an afternoon tea that celebrates the partnership in every course.
The collaboration places Nyetimber’s award-winning wines at the centre of the terrace, with the Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage and Nyetimber Rosé available by the glass and bottle throughout the season. Crafted from estate-grown Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes, each cuvée is a celebration of England’s distinctive terroir and the artistry of its winemakers, offering a compelling showcase of the country’s flourishing sparkling wine scene. Complementing the experience is Dalloway Terrace’s thoughtfully curated selection of Ronnefeldt teas, inviting guests to discover everything from the rich, malty notes of Assam Rambung to the delicate, character of Jasmine Pearls. It is an elegant meeting of flavours, where exceptional English sparkling wine and fine tea come together in the spirit of leisurely autumn afternoons.
Bringing the charm of the English countryside to the heart of London, this is a seasonal experience not to be missed. The Nyetimber Afternoon Tea will be served every day from 12pm to 4pm until the end of October. Prices start at £55 per person, or £65 with a glass of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee Multi-Vintage.
