The Best Music Videos Of 2015

2015 brought so much surreal music videos, some music artist gave us real good stuff while others just decided to deliver craziness to our screens,  but we have to give credit to those who tried and those who gave us the coolest music videos ever this 2015. Collaborations that we never thought we’d see to pure art. If you haven’t seen any of these videos you must be living on planet mars! Check out the best music videos of 2015.

1.Major Lazer & DJ Snake – Lean On (feat. MØ): This is hands down our number music video of the year!

2.M.I.A – Borders: This video got us all talking, Refugees were the subject of the political debate in 2015, and who would have thought that rapper Mathangi “Maya” Arulpragasam would have been very outspoken about it and enter the conversation with a very provocative, self-directed video – in which refugees travel on tiny, cramped boats, climb fences and form a giant human pyramid. Really descriptive yet slightly worrying stuff.

3.Justin Bieber – Sorry: This year Justin Bieber came all out, gave us everything we wanted and more. ‘Sorry’ was published on Oct 22, 2015 on Youtube and this video has already gathered more than 459 million views. Apology accepted Justin!

4.Drake – Hotline Bling: With over 289 million views on Youtube, Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’ was one of the most talked about videos of the year. From funny gifs of his dance moves to the hilarious comments that were made about those same dance moves. Regardless this video has all of us on the dance floor every time its on.

5.Missy Elliott – WTF (Where They From) ft. Pharrell Williams:This music video was worth the seven year wait, it was like she never left. From bringing out the puppets to giving us the coolest dance moves ever. One of our favorite collaborations of the year.

6.FKA twigs – M3LL155X: This video literally gave us so much chills and goosebumps. We can go on all day about how FKA delivers the most captivating music videos. We are talking jaw dropping videos that is so refreshing yet disturbing.

7.MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS – DOWNTOWN: This epic music video deserves top honors just for being so ridiculously fun to watch. Well for more than five minutes long, the video featured moped riders, Kool Moe Dee, Grandmaster Caz, Melle Mel, Ken Griffey Jr. tossing a fish, “Thriller”style dance, ’70s threads and much more.

8.Nicki Minaj and Beyonce- Feeling Myself: This has to be one of the coolest videos of the year, we never saw it coming. A collaboration that made every girl feel so cool.

9.Carly Rae Jepsen – I Really Like You: Seriously, who wouldn’t like to watch Tom Hanks lip-sync to a bubbly pop song while going about his day? LOL! Carly Rae Jepsen’s “I Really Like You” is just too cool and 2015 would not have been the same without it.

10.Rihanna – Bitch Better Have My Money: This video did not have the best reception but what is more freakier than watching Rihanna literally brutally execute only things we see in ‘Hannibal’ drama series. The Bajan beauty goes nude and gets really bloody as she seeks revenge on a woman who owes her money or something like that. The video also featured special appearances from Eric Roberts and Mads Mikkelsen himself from NBC’s show; Hannibal. That was the highlight for us! What is more bloody than seeing Hannibal recreated by Rih ad special appearance from the man himself.

11.Silentó – Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae): Whip Nae Nae music video had everyone on the dance floor, I bet even your Nan was bursting the moves from this music video. Our favourite part is doing the ‘Stanky Leg’. YAS!

12.Kendrick Lamar – Alright: Besides the video being visually captivating and knowing Kendrick for his poetic ways, the ‘Alright’ song is such a tune and the video couldn’t have been any better.
