The Westin London City Introduces Weekend Brunch Bliss

Having recently visited and experienced the new brunch offering at Mosaic at the Westin London City, I instantly understood why The Westin London City has become such a remarkable riverside destination. From the moment you step inside, the warm lighting, contemporary interiors and elegant design details create a calm and inviting atmosphere.

Adding to the experience is the hotel’s exceptional riverside location, with sweeping views across the historic River Thames. Overlooking Shakespeare’s Globe and the iconic Tate Modern, The Westin London City effortlessly combines modern luxury with some of London’s most recognisable scenery, creating a brilliant backdrop for a relaxed weekend escape in the heart of the City.

Mosaic’s Weekend Brunch Bliss is well worth a visit — an elevated brunch experience designed to bring effortless indulgence to weekends by the Thames. Available every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday from 11am to 3pm, it combines relaxed dining with a refined, wellness-led approach that feels perfectly tailored to Londoners looking to slow down and truly savour the weekend.

Priced at £60 per person, guests can choose one signature brunch dish alongside 90 minutes of free-flowing drinks including Prosecco, Bloody Marys, Mimosas, sparkling tea, juices and water.

The menu itself offers elevated takes on classic brunch favourites including Eggs Benedict, Royale or Florentine made with Burford Brown eggs and rich Hollandaise, alongside a standout Cornish Lobster Benedict, finished with Keta caviar and served on a toasted English muffin — a dish I personally tried and thoroughly enjoyed for its balance of richness and flavour.

There are also lighter, plant-forward options available, including scrambled tofu on sourdough with vegan bacon and grilled Portobello mushroom, or avocado on toast with poached egg and Espelette pepper.

For those leaning towards something sweet, the Belgian waffles, pancakes and French toast are served with seasonal berries and indulgent accompaniments including Vermont maple syrup, whipped cream or coconut yoghurt. The waffles, which I also had the chance to try, were unlike anything I’ve tasted before — perfectly light, crisp and indulgent creating a comforting yet refined end to the brunch experience.

The service throughout was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming, with staff striking that perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness, creating an experience that feels relaxed from start to finish.

Finally, what truly makes Weekend Brunch Bliss stand out is its atmosphere; effortlessly elevated, with beautiful views across the city. I had such a great time and enjoyed the brunch especially the Eggs Benedict and sparkling tea. Mosaic delivered a perfect balance of great food, warm service and relaxed weekend dining, all wrapped in The Westin London City’s thoughtful, wellbeing-led approach.
