From a culinary conversation with renowned chef Sabrina Ghayour to a day of French-inspired festivity for Beaujolais Day, the Galvin calendar promises unforgettable experiences across Essex and Shoreditch.

The Galvin Book Club Returns with Sabrina Ghayour – 21st October 2025

After a five-year hiatus, the much-loved Galvin Book Club makes its highly anticipated return to The Galvin Green Man in Braintree. The relaunch welcomes special guest Sabrina Ghayour, the acclaimed cookbook author and champion of Persian and Middle Eastern flavours.

A favourite among food lovers, the Galvin Book Club has previously featured some of the UK’s most celebrated chefs and writers, including Jeremy Lee, Michel Roux, Tom Kerridge, and Mark Hix. The upcoming edition will see guests enjoy a two-course lunch inspired by Ghayour’s signature dishes, accompanied by lively conversation, book signings, and a Q&A session led by the Galvin team.

Tickets are £69 per person, including a welcome drink, a signed copy of Persiana Easy, and an afternoon of culinary inspiration in true Galvin style.

Beaujolais Day at Galvin Bistrot & Bar – 20th November 2025

Across the capital, Galvin Bistrot & Bar in Spitalfields will once again capture the spirit of France for the annual Beaujolais Nouveau celebration. On 20th November 2025, the bistro will host a day-long fête of French food, wine, and joie de vivre — from breakfast through to dinner.

Guests can expect authentic Gallic dishes, pours of the year’s first Beaujolais, and a convivial atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and the unmistakable warmth that defines every Galvin occasion.
