As London basks in the summer sunshine, the city’s dining scene is flourishing with vibrant terraces, seasonal menus and exciting new culinary experiences. One standout destination bringing the effortless elegance of the South of France to the heart of Marylebone is 108 Brasserie, where La Terrasse on the Lane offers a charming Provençal escape without leaving the capital.
108 Brasserie recently launched La Terrasse on the Lane, an elegant rosé terrace created in partnership with Château La Coste. Inspired by the sun-drenched landscapes of the Côtes de Provence, the beautifully styled outdoor space is the perfect setting for long summer lunches, golden-hour apéritifs and relaxed evenings shared with family and friends. Open throughout the summer, the terrace brings a taste of the South of France to the heart of Marylebone. Created in collaboration with Château La Coste (renowned art-led wine estate in northern Provence) features a stunning floral installation inspired by the estate’s rolling hills, wildflower plateaus, olive and cypress landscapes surrounding the vineyard, alongside magnums of rosé poured tableside, an exclusive selection of Château La Coste cuvées and signature rosé spritz cocktails (£16.50), making La Terrasse on the Lane one of London’s most brilliant destinations for alfresco dining and drinks this summer

A curated menu has been specially designed for the terrace, beautifully executed dishes infused with Provençal flavours. Highlights include brioche lobster sub rolls with lemon, smoked paprika, chives and spring onion (£24.50); Caesar salad for two with white anchovies and golden frites (£30); and the 108 seafood platter of hot smoked salmon rillettes, prawn cocktail, dressed white crab and peppered mackerel (£85). To finish, cherry clafoutis is served with olive oil ice cream made using Château La Coste’s own organic extra virgin oil (£12).
I sampled the Brioche Lobster Sub Roll, filled with lobster and finished with lemon, smoked paprika, chives and spring onion. It was easily one of the best lobster rolls I’ve enjoyed this summer—perfectly balanced, incredibly fresh and packed with flavour

The 108 Seafood Platter was equally impressive, featuring hot smoked salmon rillettes, prawn cocktail, dressed white crab and peppered mackerel. Beautifully presented and wonderfully generous, each element was bursting with flavour, making it a real highlight of the meal.
To accompany the dishes, we sipped on expertly crafted cocktails, including the Central Smash (£16.50), inspired by London’s Central line and made with Tanqueray No. TEN, strawberry, lemon juice, coconut and fresh basil. For those looking for an alcohol-free alternative, the Virgin Paloma (£12.50), created with CleanCo Tequila, lime and grapefruit soda, was equally refreshing,
Dessert was a delightful, Cherry Clafoutis served with silky olive oil ice cream made using Château La Coste’s own organic extra virgin olive oil. Rich yet beautifully balanced, it was the perfect way to end an exceptional dining experience.
From the exceptional Provençal-inspired menu and beautifully crafted cocktails to the warm, attentive service and stunning floral terrace, La Terrasse on the Lane is the perfect setting for long lunches, golden-hour drinks and memorable gatherings with friends and family. If you’re searching for the perfect spot for a long summer lunch, this is one you’ll want to book before the season ends.
